Alumni Engagement Manager Job Description
The Alumni Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a highly professional and engaged network of alumni and designated friends, cultivating loyalty, affinity, and lifelong learning to drive sustained support for the University.
Reporting directly to the Director, Development and Alumni Relations, this key member of the DARO management team will spearhead the development, implementation, and evaluation of alumni relations strategies aligned with the University's strategic objectives.
Lead the creation of comprehensive alumni engagement plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of various stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and partners.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across divisions and departments to ensure seamless execution of alumni relations strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key colleagues, stakeholders, and influencers to advance the University's interests and achieve its goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform and enhance alumni engagement initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in developing and delivering client-centric programs, ideally in alumni relations or other advancement disciplines.
Strong leadership and management skills, including budget management and team leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Able to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on driving results-oriented solutions.
Project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
