**The Role
The Macro & Micro Space Analyst is responsible for deriving fact-based recommendations on how we utilise our space in store across new stores, renewal, space optimisation projects and range reviews. The role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure the best space outcomes are achieved for our stores and customers.
- Some additional key responsibilities include:
- Identify key strategic priorities for our space optimisation program using quantitative and qualitative research
- Use analytical tools to drive continuous improvement and recommendations on space optimisation strategy, striving to maximise our return on Space
- Identify opportunities and solutions through structured analysis and problem solving
- Supporting the build and delivery of multi-store programs to drive significant incremental sales and profit outcomes
- Support the development and rollout of new space optimisation tools and processes within the business
- Drive continuous improvement and evolve space management in line with the company's strategic objectives
- Act as a SME for Micro & Macro space in regards to data, insights and tools
- Continued enhancement of data insights that will help the business make informed Micro & Macro decisions in line with customer's and business needs.
- Identification of process & reporting improvements for the wider team.
- Run appropriate deep-dive data analysis to support Macro & Micro decisions as required
- Simplification of process improvement toolkits
- Strong Analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong excel experience
- Blue yonder and SQL experience highly regarded.

- The following experience would also be of benefit to your new role:
- 1-3 years experience in Macro or Micro Space
- Experience in retail/ FMCG preferred
- Business Transformation experience is preferred
- Strong visualisation, verbal and written skills Advanced Excel skills
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to draw insights from data
- Strong analytical & excel skills
- Excellent communicator
