**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader for our Mental Health team. The purpose of the Team Leader position is to demonstrate organisational and leadership skills in the coordination of services to assist our service users. The Team Leader is focused upon ensuring that the individual needs of service users are met, whilst maintaining an efficient and safe working environment for staff.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in the Mental Health sector with a rich understanding of personal processes of recovery. The position will provide supervision and support to a team of Peer Support and Community Rehabilitation Support Workers.

The Team Leader is a permanent, full time position, with flexibility to work on a hybrid office/home model.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, lead, and empower a team of recovery-focused support workers.
- Champion the creation, implementation, and monitoring of personalised support and care plans, working collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and support networks.
- Strive to deliver services through a support worker whose skills and interests closely match those of the client where possible.
- Demonstrate effective conflict resolution, communication, and positive behaviour management skills.
- Communicate and display values consistent with Life Without Barriers: _Responsive, Imaginative, Courageous, Respectful,_ and _Relationships._
- Ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations in an accurate and timely manner with relevant funding stakeholders.
- Offer leadership in practice to both direct reports and the Mental Health team through collaborative efforts with stakeholders.

**Skills & Experience**
- An unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and access to reliable motor vehicle
- Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Disability, Mental Health, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and supporting client focused practice.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracted KPIs and preparing written reports.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic thinking, achieve results and communicate with influence.
