**About the Company**:

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be heavily involved in daily testing of powder samples. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, switched-on chemist to join the team.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct routine inspections of all incoming raw materials & packaging materials
Conduct routine quality control checks and obtain reference samples of incoming raw materials Manage the storage samples
Conduct in-process and finished product testing
Authorise the release of finished goods for despatch to the customer
Assist in investigating customer complaints
Communicate and conduct Out Of Specification (OOS) investigations

**Skills & Experience**:
Degree in chemistry of food science
Previous experience in QC testing is a benefit
Comfortable working in a busy fast paced manufacturing environment
High level of attention to detail
