IT ANALYST - DWH AND TRANSVERSAL (JOB NUMBER: C D000519)

**Position Purpose**
- The role of the IT Analyst
- DWH and Reporting sits within the Technical Analyst team which is part of the Information Technology & Change division of BNP Paribas Securities Services (BP2S). The IT Analyst - DWH & Reporting primary objective is helping the business implement technology solution in a cost-effective way by determining the functional requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
- The team works within a matrix structure, delivering into projects that are managed across all platforms. They communicate with internal and external stakeholders (including business stakeholders in operations, product and coverage, BNP Paribas Territory IT who manage networks and infrastructure, Paris and London branches for global projects, standards, vendors, consultants, suppliers and occasionally BP2S clients).

**Responsibilities**

Responsible for technical analysis activities associated with scope items.
- To act as a consulted party in reviewing Business Requirements, providing feedback where applicable;
- Working with relevant project stakeholders to understand the project goals help develop a solution that is consistent with current design, scalable and client agnostic;
- Producing a functional design document that meets the signed-off business requirement, includes the management of the signoff process for the document;
- Proactively raising and providing solution options for risks and issues related to the solution;
- Working with the technical, business and test teams during testing phases to assist with development of test cases, provide technical advice and support and ensure test coverage meets solution requirements;
- Providing advice and support throughout the project in relation to the solution and technology associated with it.

Documentation & System Testing
- Developing the required documents in-conjunction with the business and the delivery team of; architects, developers and testers for all requests for change.
- Developing system test cases for all requests for change
- Conducting system test execution and producing system test completion reports

UAT Support
- Providing UAT support and ensuring all requests for change have UAT plans and execution results recorded.

Change Implementation
- Service Delivery handover in readiness for Production go-live and support
- Providing support during and post implementation of the change

General
- Providing realistic estimates and delivering within these estimates (time and budget)
- Complying with audit and security requirements
- Bringing innovative solutions where appropriate
- Complying and leveraging global architectures and solutions
- Adapting IT priorities to meet changing business priorities
- Delivering a solution that is operable
- Participating in planned DRP exercises (if required)
- Consistently integrating risk assessment in planning and decision making
- Quickly responding to any security threats
- Conduct corporate training

**Qualification / technical**
- 5+ years analysis experience
- SQL Server experience desired
- Agile experience would be preferred
- Use of any ALM tool would be of an advantage (QC, TFS, Jira)
- A general interest in Data
- Experience in a technology change management capacity in the Financial Services Industry
- Experience in custody or back-office administration for the funds management industry
