**General Manager Wells** to join our team.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the Project Director,** the purpose of the
**General Manager Wells** position is to lead and manage the Well Delivery Discipline in it's key functions to safely deliver the Arrow Wells ambition.
This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
**In addition, you will**:
- Ensure that well delivery activities are compliant with company policies, regulatory requirements, fiscal and operational requirements as per the Arrow Wells control framework (Wells Framework) and Government regulations.
- Manage the process for continual improvement of well designs and operating practices to improve safety, quality and technical performance by supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Initiate, monitor and supervise the development of contracting strategies conducted by the Well Delivery department by promoting and supporting Arrow's pre and post award contract management process.
- Integrate and develop with Arrow GM peer group long term strategies, policies and objectives (technical, commercial, resources) to effectively integrate all disciplines to produce a highly efficient Operations department by supporting the COO and promoting integration and inclusion.
- Manage the planning, development and training of permanent and contingent workforce in line with the Arrow people plan and in partnership with People & Culture
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum, chemical, or a related engineering field or an equivalent qualification in petroleum geoscience
- Leading Well Operations and Well Engineering functions in large scale Oil & Gas projects in Australia or overseas.
