**Your Role at Nextt**:At Nextt, our disability support workers play a pivotal role in organising and executing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.

We currently have a vacancy in the **Ripley South **Region of Brisbane for a **Part Time **Disability Support Worker working with our male client. Duties will consist of in home care and community access.

We have the following Permanent Roster available:

- Tuesday 0600 to 1600
- Wednesday 0600 to 1600
- Friday 0600 to 1600
- Saturday 1600 to 2200 with a sleep over once a month

With availability to cover other shifts outside these hours.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Previous Experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work
- Experience working with individuals who have Positive Behavior Support Plans; experience with challenging behaviors is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and management staff
- Ability to complete compliance documentation in a timely manner, such as shift reporting and daily tracking of food and fluids, as well as other reporting requested by management

**Your Certificates and Licenses**:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Yellow Card) - must be applied or current
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- must be applied or current
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver's License and access to a fully insured vehicle

All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
