**The Role**

Seven Fishes is looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an **Aquarium Maintenance Assistant**. If you enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic, aquatic environment and are capable of managing tasks independently, we'd love to hear from you

**Position Details**:

- **Location**: Lidcombe
- **Hours**: Starting at 8:00 AM, Monday to Wednesday; availability to work some public holidays is required.
- **Employment Type**: Casual to part-time.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Daily Aquarium Maintenance**: Perform water changes, feed fish, and carry out other tank or pond care tasks as needed.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Accurately pack orders for shipment.
- **Cleaning & Organization**: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workspace, including end-of-day cleanup.
- **General Support**: Handle tasks such as lifting and moving equipment (e.g., water pumps, boxes) when necessary.

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Physical Fitness**: Comfortable working in a warm, humid environment with the ability to handle physical tasks like lifting.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail to ensure the best care for our livestock and efficient packing of orders.
- **Time Management**: Ability to meet deadlines and stay productive during busy periods.
- **Self-Sufficiency**: Confident working independently with mínimal supervision.
- **Knowledge of Fishkeeping**: Experience or knowledge of ornamental fish care is a bonus, but not essential—we're happy to train the right person.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
