About Our School
Sophia College is a Catholic secondary school located in the Lockyer Valley, approximately 80km west of Brisbane. The College opened in January 2021 and continues to grow. The school emphasises Franciscan spirituality and integral ecology, with a focus on student-centred learning and staff development.
About the Opportunity
You will be responsible for:
Providing administrative and operational support and advice on a diverse range of matters
Developing and administering processes and procedures and responding to enquiries
Monitoring service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards
Facilitating work to meet deadlines and commitments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Supervising and training support staff as required, ensuring high standards of administrative support
About You
To be successful, you will bring contemporary administrative and operational skills and experience, including:
Experience providing a wide variety of administrative and operational support
Ability to coordinate tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient service delivery
Experience advising on administrative tasks and processes and driving process improvements
Understanding of school compliance, relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Experience leading and supporting administrative staff, onboarding and training
You are not required to be Catholic
Eligibility And Safeguarding
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
