
Factory Technician

**We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Factory Technician Assembler to join our dynamic team.** As a Factory Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of interiors and associated products while upholding the highest standards of quality. Your dedication and expertise will contribute to the overall success of our company.
**Primary duties and responsibilities**
- Constantly review the operation of the plant to monitor production, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Work in a safe manner, ensuring all safety procedures are followed
- Monitor all facets of equipment control and production times, adhering to all production standards to drive consistent outcomes
- Ensure the good working order of equipment before production use. Check gauges, dials and other indicators to ensure machines and tools are in working order. Ensure sufficient stock at the work area prior to commencing work.
- Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- Tafe certificate in Shopfitting (4 years) or equivalent is desirable.
- Experience working within a factory environment.
- Able to work in a consistent way to ensure quality.
- Attention to detail and to be able to follow instructions.
- Able to read two dimensional plans.
- Mechanically inclined, familiarity with hand tool usage
- First aid, working at heights certificates are desirable
**Salary**: From $42.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
