Electrical Director Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Director to lead and grow our Building Services division in Perth. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic direction, project delivery excellence, client engagement, and team development across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the electrical engineering function within the Building Services team.
Lead business development initiatives to expand the client base, secure major projects, and enhance market presence in Western Australia.
Oversee the delivery of complex building services projects across sectors including commercial, health, education, transport, and mixed-use developments.
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure technical excellence and quality assurance across all design documentation and project deliverables.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Chartered status (CPEng) and Engineers Australia membership preferred.
Minimum 15 years' experience in building services electrical engineering, with a strong background in project delivery, design leadership, and team management.
Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level position within a consultancy environment.
Demonstrated success in winning and delivering major building services projects across a range of sectors.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial management in a consulting environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
