We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Director to lead and grow our Building Services division in Perth. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic direction, project delivery excellence, client engagement, and team development across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the electrical engineering function within the Building Services team.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand the client base, secure major projects, and enhance market presence in Western Australia.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex building services projects across sectors including commercial, health, education, transport, and mixed-use developments.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure technical excellence and quality assurance across all design documentation and project deliverables.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Chartered status (CPEng) and Engineers Australia membership preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in building services electrical engineering, with a strong background in project delivery, design leadership, and team management.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level position within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated success in winning and delivering major building services projects across a range of sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial management in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
