**Your Opportunity**:
The position of Portering Manager plays a vital role in upholding the reputation of the organisation by creating a safe, and welcoming environment for employees, patients, and visitors alike. Being a high-quality service, which offers a timely, responsive, and pro-active system for the movement of patients, equipment, as well as being a service that maintains patient confidentiality, is reliable, helpful, and responsive to the needs of hospital. The manager will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**This position will**:

- Manage Porters and Patient Support Officers with Queensland Childrens Hospital (QCH) and surrounding facilities - Centre for Children's Health Research (CCHR), Bank Building, Queensland Childrens Hospital Energy Plant (QCHEP)
- Promote Patient Support Services department by networking with staff and clients to achieve client focussed quality outcomes.
