Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the reliability of Australia's renewable future. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a real impact in the energy transition.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead Engineer and Maintenance Manager to develop and optimise maintenance strategies across our fleet of wind assets. Your expertise will directly reduce unplanned downtime, improve safety, and unlock innovative ways to extend asset life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct FMECA and reliability reviews to inform strategy development.
Monitor and interpret condition monitoring data and turbine performance trends.
Analyse real-time and historical operational data in collaboration with the Operations Diagnostics Centre.
Own and develop asset intelligence systems to track performance trends.
Collaborate with OEMs, research partners, Asset Services, and site teams to address systemic reliability challenges.
Assess and apply emerging technologies (drones, digital twins, AI-based analytics) to enhance asset management.
Requirements
To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, you will need:
Qualifications:
Degree qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience:
Experience applying Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles.
Skills:
Strong understanding of HSE requirements and their practical application. Ability to provide clear technical support to diverse and geographically spread teams. Well-developed analytical skills, including root cause analysis and performance diagnostics. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Registration:
Possess or be eligible/willing to obtain Chartered Registration with Engineers Australia.
