Overview
The Role
Due to business growth, we're seeking an experienced Fire Systems Testing Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work across a variety of client sites, testing and inspecting a range of fire protection systems including:
Exit and emergency lighting
Sprinkler and pump systems
Hydrants
Fire and Smoke Doors
You'll identify issues, carry out some repairs, and ensure all systems meet compliance and safety standards.
About You
You're a self-motivated professional who can work both independently and as part of a team. You take pride in your work, have great attention to detail, and bring a positive, can-do attitude.
Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing, repair, and basic installation of commercial fire protection equipment with a sound understanding of AS .
Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining high quality standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical skills, with the ability to use a service management app (Uptick experience highly regarded)
Effective time management and organisational skills
Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks daily
High attention to detail and commitment to thorough work
Current NSW Driver's Licence
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, NSW Police and working with children background check.
