The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Systems Testing Technician to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect a range of fire protection systems including exit and emergency lighting, sprinkler and pump systems, hydrants, fire and smoke doors
  • Identify issues, carry out repairs and ensure all systems meet compliance and safety standards

About You

As a self-motivated professional, you will work independently and as part of a team. You take pride in your work, have great attention to detail and bring a positive can-do attitude.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing, repair and basic installation of commercial fire protection equipment with a sound understanding of AS codes
  • Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining high quality standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to use a service management app
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks daily
  • High attention to detail and commitment to thorough work
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
