Ventia has been awarded the Sydney Roads Asset Performance (SRAP) Contract for the Parklands zone by Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
**About the role**
- The Spatial Information Officer will be responsible for the administration and development of the geographic information system and asset information system deployed on the SRAP contract working closely with Asset Data Scientist
- To identify, analyse, and build new GIS solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and reduce costs.
- Assist in the compilation of records, including inventory information ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Develop and manage processes, procedures and SOPs for data collection activities ensuring that they reflect current best practice.
- Develop, maintain, and improve existing GIS Web Applications.
- Complete various spatial analysis and report findings to enable data driven decision making throughout the business.
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Geographic Information Systems (or a related discipline).
- Basic level SQL and Python experience is desirable
- Basic level experience with ArcGIS Online is desirable
