Overview
Subcontractor Gardener role at ECHO Community Services. This is a subcontractor position working with ECHO's Service Team Leader to provide gardening services to our clients.
Introduction: Our purpose is to enrich the lives of people living independently in their own homes through connection to services and community.
Responsibilities
Mowing, edging and trimming lawns and gardens at various residential locations as required.
Pruning and maintaining a variety of plants, trees and shrubs, and planting when required.
Weeding where required for safety purposes.
Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools.
Ensuring the grounds are safe, tidy and clean for all clients.
Reporting safety hazards and providing feedback on related concerns to the office in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills
Have own ABN.
Have own public liability and indemnity insurance policies.
Have own reliable equipment and tools to provide service.
Have own PPE.
Have strong focus on safety for themselves and those around them when providing services.
Have a reliable vehicle registration and current driver's license.
Have current National Police Clearance within the past three months, and able to maintain this.
Solid customer service skills and experience in providing gardening services to a wide range of clients within the community.
