Fantastic new opportunity to join the Compass Group Australia team as a Retail Operations Lead

THE POSITION
- Regular Site Visits
- Building relationships with onsite management and Retail & Tavern employees ensuring an alignment of the Retail Strategy at site level.
- Growth on Site KPI's
- Sales, average customer spend and gross profit.
- Regular analysis of dashboards and sales reports.
- Inventory Management & Profit Protection
- Minimising shrinkage through analysis of wastage reports
- Remote Retail and Tavern Focus:

- Tailor CSOM strategies to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by offshore and remote retail and tavern environments.
- Work closely with local teams to ensure the effective implementation of CSOM initiatives in these specific contexts.
- Customer Feedback Management:

- Review and analyse customer feedback from VOC and Net Promoter surveys to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Regularly assess customer sentiment and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct Retail/Sales Up-skilling Training:

- Deliver comprehensive retail and sales up-skilling training programs for site staff, ensuring continuous improvement in skills and knowledge.
- Implement Retail Core Product Range and Supplier Planograms:

- Execute the implementation of the agreed retail core product range by category, ensuring consistency, quality, and optimising product placement across all sites.
- Implement agreed National Programs and Evaluate Retail Promotions:

- Drive the execution of all retail promotions including new lines, measuring their effectiveness and analysing key performance indicators.
- Support Site Mobilisations:

- Provide assistance during site mobilisations to ensure a seamless integration of retail operations in new locations

THE PERSON
- Minimum 5 Years Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience in a comparable role within a Retail organisation, with exposure to Grocery and/or Petrol & Convenience sectors.
- Willingness to Travel: Demonstrate the ability to travel, including overnight stays as required by the role.
- Remote/Offshore Mining Sector Experience (preferred): While not mandatory, previous experience in the remote/offshore mining sector is advantageous.
- Relationship management experience with both internal and external stakeholders
- Effective Multitasking Skills: Capable of efficiently multitasking and prioritising workload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
