ABOUT THE ROLE
The Site Manager will be responsible for the onsite management of a project, including managing sub-contractors, leading hands, carpenters and labourers.
The role requires a person who is self-motivated, extremely capable, adaptable and innovative, and has experience leading and managing construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
Managing projects including daily site supervision
Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors
Coordinating Site OH&S, QA and Environmental requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable applicants must have:
At least five years experience in the Australian construction industry
Carpentry background preferred
Sound knowledge of building products, processes and trades
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
Current drivers licence andvehicle.
Hammertech knowledge a bonus
REMUNERATION
Merkon will pay the successful candidate an attractive package, to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
