Join the King of the Hills team as an Auto Mine Technician and be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and administration of Sandvik autonomous and remotely operated mobile equipment.About the roleRoster options: 2/2, 7/7, or 8/6Rates aligned and adjusted with your trade skills and experience7% market uplift allowance - paid quarterlyLocation: Only 1hr 15mins flight from Perth, plus 20 mins to camp and 9 mins to siteVirgin flight – collect frequent flyer pointsMostly new fleetAbout youA demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude towards ensuring safety is prioritizedRelevant Australian recognised trade qualification – Auto Electrical preferredKnowledge of Sandvik U/G Development/Production Drills and LoadersProven experience with remote control systems – AutomineExperience training less qualified tradespeople in a high productivity underground mining environmentStrong background with latest generation underground mobile equipment and automation systemsSound diagnostic skillsAbility to read and understand schematicsMinimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in underground mining on large mobile equipmentSelf-starter with minimal supervisionExcellent maintenance and service approachCurrent Australian C Class Driver's License – manualEmployee benefitsOngoing career development opportunities – Challenge.
