Primary Auto Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to undertake key maintenance and repair tasks for our mining fleet equipment. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of company equipment, conducting electrical troubleshooting and repairs, and maintaining workshop facilities.
This is a permanent full-time position on a FIFO 2:1 roster with access to competitive remuneration and benefits. In return, we offer a supportive team environment, ongoing training and development opportunities, and state-of-the-art workshop facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain company Mining Fleet which consists of predominantly Cat, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Installation of components.
- Have extensive industry air conditioning experience with good diagnosis skills.
- Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Cert III Auto Electrician trade - Heavy (Australia recognised).
- Current Air Conditioning licence.
- Extensive product knowledge on CAT & Komatsu equipment.
- Experience in performing auto electrical and air condition repairs on mining equipment.
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
- Possess a valid 'C' Class drivers licence.
- National Police Clearance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
