Australian Food Ingredient Suppliers (AFIS), has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical and Sales professional in our Covid-Safe premises located in Brookvale, NSW.

We are looking for an individual who is driven, hardworking and eager to grow with a professional and experienced team

**About the Company**

AFIS (Australian Food Ingredient Suppliers) is an independently owned and trusted family business who design, manufacture and supply high quality food ingredients.

The AFIS core range of over 600 products includes a large variety of sweet flavours, food colours, food ingredients, colorites, and essential oils.

AFIS offices, laboratory and factory is based in the Sydney northern beaches suburb of Brookvale, where a small collaborative team of technical and functional experts ensure the production of quality products and the highest levels of customer satisfaction in a quality controlled environment.

**What you will be responsible for**

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager you will be required to process customer orders, assist with technical queries, organise samples for customers and assist with technical documentation.

Your priority areas will be;
- Sales Development and Customer Technical Support
- Reporting and General Administration
- Business Development Support
- Regulatory, Compliance and System Support
- Cross Functional Support

**What you need to be successful**
- A qualification in food science/technology combined with a minimum 2-5 years work within the Food Industry
- A proven track record in a previous sales role would be an advantage as would excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills

**About you**

- strong planning and organisational skills together with an ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
- an ability to work independently, be driven and manage many tasks and activities simultaneously
- a proactive and flexible approach when having to deal with the demands of constantly changing priorities
- the capacity to work well within a team environment, meeting deadlines and supporting customers
- a customer service focused attitude, combined with enthusiasm and energy
- the capacity to work under mínimal direction in gaining and developing business through the use of effective sales management and development principles and methodologies
