Want to bring ideas to life?

You're in the right place. We've been a leading design, engineering and advisory company for decades. So why choose Aurecon? It really comes down to one, crucial question: what kind of world do you want to create for the next generation? Truth is, the decisions being made right now will determine the future of everything - from the local community to the sustainability of our clients' businesses - to the entire planet. One of those decisions is: who do you decide to work for?

How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?

As our new Urban Planning Leader, you will join our Melbourne Environment and Planning Advisory business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across the built environment, transport, land and water, energy and government sectors with a particular focus on systems and networks that support cities and precincts.

You will Lead in the scoping, coordination, reporting and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure and precinct scale developments and possess a knowledge and understanding of areas such as precinct planning, structure planning, strategic land use planning, urban design and policy.

You will be at the forefront of a team that seeks to coordinate and facilitate a 'connected' Aurecon, where you will draw upon your strong interpersonal skills and the technical expertise of the business to facilitate our clients in decision making phases of the project lifecycle such as end to end delivery of structure plans.

Here is what you will do to 'bring ideas to life':

- A deep understanding of strategic and statutory planning expertise and the demonstrated ability to work with public and private sector clients,
- Lead the management, coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary large scale infrastructure projects, in particular end to end delivery of structure plans,
- Proactively and collaboratively working with other parts of Aurecon as necessary to leverage Aurecon's technical ability to deliver urban planning work,
- Engage and navigate clients through complex project requirements, innovation strategies, frameworks, and approval pathways,
- Exercise outstanding interpersonal skills to develop relationships with a wide range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders,
- Help to grow our urban planning capability and reach in the strategic planning and precincts sector as part of our broader Environment and Planning Advisory offering and developing a connected Aurecon.
