Urban Strategy Lead

We are seeking a skilled leader to join our team as the Manager Urban Strategy, responsible for guiding our strategic planning agenda and economic development program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our city's future through initiatives such as activity centres uplift, suburban rail loop integration, trader support, and more.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in urban or strategic planning, ideally within local government, and a strong understanding of planning reforms and land use challenges. They will be confident in engaging with councillors, government agencies, developers, and community stakeholders, combining a strategic mindset with clear and direct communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in urban or strategic planning, preferably within local government.
  • Strong understanding of planning reforms and land use challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving meaningful outcomes and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
