**The role**:
A great opportunity has just been created to join Gateways' Support Coordination and Plan Management Team. The
**Plan Management Team Leader **is responsible for the leadership, management, collaboration and development of the
**Plan Management Financial Administration** (PMFA) Team across multiple locations.
The Team Leader will support the team to deliver competitive plan management services and high level customer service aligned to Gateways Support Services values, and to grow the program sustainably.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- To provide positive leadership, supervision, mentoring and support to the Plan Management team.
- To identify, plan and promote team development and growth.
- To promote Gateways Support Services reputation as a provider of choice for Plan Management
- Identify and investigate data discrepancies for non-compliance.
- Chair and lead team meetings
- Develop and manage working relationships, both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain contemporary knowledge around National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) market intelligence.
- Provide internal advice on sector trends and major developments that have the capacity to provide new opportunities.
- Maintain understanding of current NDIS compliance in Plan Management
- Encourage service innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice culture.
- Maintain confidentiality of participants records and information.
- Occasional other tasks, including PMFA officer tasks, as directed.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the disability sector
- Strong business networking skills and persuasive communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage staffing challenges.
- Understanding of the NDIS and how funding is allocated in participant plans.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites to support staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and achieve outcomes independently and autonomously.
- Results-oriented, committed to continual improvement and service focused.
