**ALL Support Plus** is currently recruiting for an experienced casual Disability Support Worker for our 11-year-old male client who resides in Booval/Ipswich, Queensland.

Currently, our client requires support Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 11am, and on a Tuesday afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Some Saturday shifts are required also.

Assistance is needed each morning to encourage a routine in preparation for school, and assisting our client to class. Tuesday afternoons is providing assistance to access the community and appointments.

We are looking for a support worker who can start immediately, who has experience working with children with all types of disability, including intellectual impairment and challenging behaviours. You will also need to be physically fit and energetic.

**Tasks may include, but are not limited to**:

- Personal care prompting,
- Attending client appointments,
- Assisting in community participation,
- Promoting a safe and positive environment when accessing the community,
- Assisting our clients to achieve both their NDIS and personal goals.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proof of Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters.
- Current open QLD driver licence.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- NDIS worker orientation certificate.
- Blue card with yellow card exemption (NDIS worker screening/WWCC)
- Minimum of Cert III in disability or individual support, or
- A minimum of 12 months relevant industry experience working with clients with disability and mental health.
- A person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
