CPS Technology & Infrastructure are seeking a Telecommunications Technical Officer to join our team in Brisbane.The candidate will need to meet the following requirements:Experience with VHA/TPG & Optus specifications, standards and HSE guidelinesAble to read and interpret technical design documents, and implement/install equipment as per design, as well as being competent in troubleshootingPerformance monitoring of telecommunications networks, diagnosis and repair of faults, and the selection and installation of equipmentProvide technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipmentExperience working on Telstra, VHA/TPG and Optus (4G/5G)Liaising with vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources and monitoring contractual obligations and performance deliveryExperience working with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia equipmentInstallation and commissioning of Base Station & Radio equipment, RF feeder & hybrid and associated optical tails / fibre management trays, etc.Installation of Earthing and labelling following client's specificationPerform testing using PIM tester, spectrum analyser and site masterPerform testing with Fibrescope and light source on fibre cablesAbility to liaise with RIC team to integrate and troubleshootCarry out post integration call tests to verify cell configurations, hand off parameters and call qualityAble to technically assist riggers on-siteSkills, Experience, and Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience in the telecommunication industry.Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities - including SWMS, MOP, JSA'sExcellent written & oral communications skillsAppropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and wordMust be permitted to work in AustraliaRequired tickets/licenses:Australian driver's licenseWhite cardTelstra, Optus and VHA/TPG safety inductionsRADHAZ AwarenessWorking at heightFirst aid & CPRIn return, CPS can offer you an excellent salary package and a chance to make your mark on this fast-growing company.
