In the absence of the Store Manager, the Team Member reports to the Long Life and/or Fresh Food Manager.ObjectivesMaximise sales by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe environment.Support and motivate the store team by executing routines and processes to a high standard.Follow directions to uphold store standards.Be a constructive team member.ResponsibilitiesCarry out store routines and processes effectively.Follow Schedule/Routine Cards.Assist with induction and training of new employees and ongoing development of existing staff.Communicate incidents, damages, operational issues, or suggestions to the Store Manager.Minimise stock losses from damages and theft.Support store standards management.Ensure communication of essential information to Department Champions/Duty Managers.Maintain accurate stocktake, receival, and invoice processes for inventory control.Ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained.Report pest issues to the Store Manager.Follow all controls, policies, and procedures, including WHS, Employee Handbook, Food Safety, and Payment Handling.Adhere to legislative and internal requirements, maintaining proper records and training staff accordingly.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.About UsBernardi Group is a family-owned company operating independent supermarkets in NSW's Central West and Riverina regions, focusing on fresh food, quality produce, and supporting local growers since 1969.
