You will be involved in a lot of commercial negotiations, so we want to empathise the commercial nature of the position

As a
**Technology Vendor Manager** on a
**permanent full-time** basis based at our head office in
**South Brisbane**, you'll join a truly connected and talented team who are passionate about delivering positive outcomes so that we're providing the best possible patient care.

At Icon you will be a true champion by:

- Monitoring technology/industry sales trends and suggest improvement measures
- Solving vendor issues (i.e. commercial negotiations, renewal of contracts, or monitoring SLA's)
- Leveraging vendor management and negotiation expertise to actively participate in the creation and build of strategic vision and plan
- Proactively identifying business critical contracts and developing negotiation strategies to ensure continuous cost, quality, and efficiency improvements are achieved
- Working with leadership and stakeholders to segment technology vendors and recommend a managed strategic and key, vendor base
- Developing and documenting common vendor management and negotiations processes, tools and templates in consultation with the procurement team
- Continuously innovating to reflect stakeholder feedback and shifting managed vendor ecosystem
- Distilling, synthesising, and drawing conclusions from complex and disparate data sources
- Prioritising exemplary customer service to ensure all customer needs are met
- Providing support, education and training to the appropriate stakeholders to build risk awareness across the enterprise
- Performing risk assessments for new vendors and business-critical vendors and ensure SLAs are being met
- Maintaining a singular view across the technology spend with regards to vendors and providing appropriate visibility to key stakeholders
- Providing input to budget and reviewing expenditure against budget to ensure that outcomes are achieved and maintained at or better than planned level
- Maintaining and monitor due diligence tasks for all vendors

**About You**
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Experience as a Vendor Manager across technology service providers
- Ability to negotiate supply contracts with vendors achieving favourable pricing and commercial outcomes
- A great communicator who's keen to develop solid working relationships and loves to negotiate
- Advanced business judgement and commercial acumen
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of the latest industry developments and vendor trends in terms of commercial models
