We currently have a fantastic opportunity within a multi chair/site practice in Sydney's CBD. Based in the city, the role oversees over 10 chairs in 2 locations and has over 20 direct reports.

The Dental Area Manager role is a hands-on role, that is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the health centre. You would be leading a team of Dentists, Dental Assistants and Receptionists.

The Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8.30 am - 2pm. Occasional Saturdays are rostered, and penalty rates apply.

**A bit about the role**:

- Oversee management and coordinate purchase of stock
- Leadership and management of Dental Assistants and Receptionists including onboarding, training and induction, rostering, coaching and performance management.
- Appointment book maximisation
- Monitor and review dental processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure infection control policy and procedures are implemented and adopted by all dental employees and contractors
- Ensure the recording of accurate financial information for report generation
- Ensure compliance with ADA and AHPRA policies and guidelines

We are looking for a long term dental professional who has enjoyed a successful career having experience in all areas of dental. Some prior clinical experience is essential, which does not need to be current however a sound understanding of the clinical component is required to effectively carry out some key elements of this role.

**To be successful you must**:

- Have a sound background within the dental industry with some clinical experience at some point.
- Min 3 years experience in management having some exposure to managing a larger team
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Previous experience with Oasis, Examine Pro and HAMBS is beneficial
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred
