We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated 2IC Retail Assistants to join our teams inGosnellsandWilletton.
Average hourly rate – Gosnells:$29.20
Average hourly rate – Willetton:$31.55

Your Impact:
As a Full Time 2IC Retail Assistant, you will play a key role:
Deliver sales and store contribution budgets as set on a financial year basis
Develop a cohesive and effective team
Ensure all efforts are made to create a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers
Ensure compliance to Good Sammy marketing, branding, POS and pricing policies
Manage stock, donations and inventory to achieve best results for customers
Ensure donation access and availability is maintained at all times
Support and supervise Participants and volunteers
Provide training and development opportunities for all staff.
What you'll do:
Manage the day-to-day running of the store alongside and in the absence of the Store Manager.
Ensure employee work goals and training requirements are understood and serviced.
Support and supervise Participants in daily tasks and help to achieve their employment goals.
Manage fortnightly roster to enable maximum supported employment hours are achieved, in line with company guidelines.
Identify opportunities for increased sales and improved customer service.
Ensure a safe, accessible and healthy working culture is maintained at all times.
Provide leadership, support and training to all staff members.
Proactively manage stock selection, ordering frequency, stock rotation, sales, promotions, recruitment, pricing, merchandising, Gold Seal selection, local area marketing, timesheets, rostering, store presentation, waste management, information technology, recycling.
Monitor and motivate staff members to work as a team to achieve retail aims.
Engage in performance improvement when appropriate and with assistance from Good Sammy People and Culture Team with full support and coaching by the Store Manager.
Ensure Good Sammy's policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
Contribute to the setting of daily budgets.
What you'll bring:
Retail Supervisory experience.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Able to work alone and as part of a team.
Good communication and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of Customer Service Standards.
An understanding of OSH considerations.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Able to plan and execute work to meet deadlines.
