Position: Multi-Skilled Plant Operator
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to operate Material Handlers, sorting Grapples, and Elevating Cab Material Handlers (Liebherr LH24 and Sennebogen 821), and Front-End Loaders. This full-time role involves working closely with your team to deliver top-notch, environmentally responsibleresource recovery services for the construction and demolition industry. You will be operating good, clean, well-maintained machinery.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 6pm.
Overtime and weekend work opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
Positive and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
Ensure safe work practices and WHS requirements.
Carry out day to day operations of various plant and equipment.
Maintain plant in a reliable, tidy, and safe manner, including minor maintenance such as re-fueling, lubrication and greasing.
Complete logbooks, pre-start checklists, daily running sheets etc.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Work is undercover so no down-time due to weather.
Leave accrues immediately.
Small team on-site, working with two operators.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operator.
Previous experience working for waste sorting/ scrap metal recyclers.
Sound working knowledge of WHS and general environmental awareness.
Plant Licenses or Verification of Competency (VOC).
Able to operate various types of plant safely and confidently.
Ability to maintain accurate plant/vehicle records (pre-starts).
