Hudson are seeking highly experienced Claims Officer or Case Managers to join a federal government body in an ongoing contract based in the CBD. You will have the opportunity to join a collaborative and open forum style team. Training is provided however, a positive and open-minded attitude is essential to success.

**YOU MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN TO SECURE A ROLE**

We are seeking individuals that have a knack for claims or case management and love providing support to those in need.

**Pay rate**: $44 p/h + super

**Location**: CBD, close to public transport with working from home 2 days per week once completed a training period

**Contract length**: 8 months with possible extension

**Hours**: Full time hours (38 per week) flexible start times between 7am-11am

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Managing a case load
- Assessing and determining outcomes and eligibility
- Reading through case notes and medical notes
- Answering calls and providing information to assist client queries
- Coordinating appointments and providing administration support to the team
- Chasing up documents and referral letters
- Liaising with healthcare providers and medical experts
- Managing cases and processing multifaceted claims
- Undertake research to inform evidence-based decision making

**Desirable skills and attributes for the role**:

- The ability to demonstrate empathy and patience for individual's circumstances is essential
- Experience managing a case load highly regarded
- Experience working within the healthcare sector
- Proven ability to gather information and make confident decisions
- Previous experience working through claims, injury management, case management or workers compensation
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to show patience and listen to clients
- Demonstrated ability to follow process, policy and legislation
- Resilience and a proactive attitude are all essential
- Previous Government experience highly regarded
