**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced person to join our supply chain team and set up and manage Aegros Production Planning system and processes in order to ensure the supply of product to meet demand in line with Aegros customer service delivery goals.

Responsibilities including:

- Create & Maintain Master Data, such as BOM's, Routings, Scrap Factors, Order Policies, Lead Times, Lot Sizes.
- Establish Production, Capacity, and Inventory Planning process & reporting.
- Undertake testing and GMP validation of the SysPro Planning system.
- Maintain the demand & supply plan within the SysPro Planning system.
- Coordinate daily operational production planning activity to drive the MPS/MRP to meet set inventory targets.
- Assist in the planning aspect of new product development and enhancements.
- Monitor production plan vs actual status and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct/attend daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
- Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Management of the slow and obsolete stock ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and provided for as applicable.
- Inventory Management to support site targets of inventory.
- Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
- Lead the process associated with collection, analysis and reporting of production planning KPI's to drive focus on continuous improvement, proactive risk management and ongoing optimisation of the plan.

**Requirements**:
To be the successful applicant for this great opportunity you are tertiary qualified in Science, Engineering, Commerce or related discipline with at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar position. APICS certification is a must. Good knowledge of Australian Code of Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Security procedures, Productivity and lean operations is an added advantage.

You must be able to communicate well in spoken and written word and be a highly motivated and pro-active self-starter.
