The SharePoint Technical Specialist will perform technical suitability assessments, forms and workflows development, integration testing, and solution design activities for migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. The Technical Specialist will work closely with the implementation vendor, technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide input to vendor proposed configuration of a modern intranet and implementation of SharePoint to Cloud migration.

The SharePoint to Cloud Project is migrating the existing SharePoint 2016 (on-premises) content, including the intranet to SharePoint Online (in the Cloud). This is a business-driven project, not a technical 'lift and shift' migration. The project deliverables include environment configuration; design and implementation of the new SharePoint hub architecture; implement user experience and interaction improvements including navigation, page redesign and templates; improved searching capability; configuring metadata and document classifications; security access; and reconfiguration of forms and workflows.

The SharePoint Technical Specialist will perform technical suitability assessments, forms and workflows development, integration testing, and solution design activities for migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. The Technical Specialist will work closely with the implementation vendor, technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide input to vendor proposed configuration of a modern intranet and implementation of SharePoint to Cloud migration.

**This role has the following outcomes / accountabilities**:

- Provide guidance in configuring SharePoint Online pages, sites, libraries, forms and workflows
- Perform initial review of technical deliverables produced by the delivery implementation partner prior to circulation for review and approval
- Undertake testing (including performance and integration testing) as required
- Adhere to ITIL processes for release and change management for migrations
- Support of CI/CD Azure DevOps Pipelines, monitor the progress of GitHub actions for feature set matches and migration of these at an appropriate time
- Document technical solutions, processes and activities, and transfer knowledge to technical support teams
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders working in an agile environment such as Scrum

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Demonstrated SharePoint Online product experience including sites, page and document templates, document libraries, content types, metadata, search capability, forms and workflows
- Demonstrated migration to SharePoint Online experience using ShareGate, preferably from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
- Demonstrated experience in designing, creating, and supporting Power Platform solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate,
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, particularly the delivery implementation partner
- Excellent technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a high pressure and changing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
