**About the role**

The Manager - PBS Digitisation will lead the integration of business process underpinning the Performance Based Standards Scheme for heavy vehicles into the NHVR Portal.

**About the role**

Through the NHVR's Performance Based Standards (PBS) scheme, heavy vehicle operators have an opportunity to improve productivity and safety through innovative and optimised vehicle design. The basic principle of PBS is to match the right vehicle to the right freight task. PBS vehicles are specifically designed to have a high level of performance and meet strict safety and infrastructure standards to ensure they are suited to the road network. At the NHVR we approve vehicle designs, approve the 'as-built' vehicles and work with State and local government's to facilitate access to roads.

Your role will be to take the end-to-end business process and integrate it into the NHVR's portal. Along the way you will ensure that business processes are fit for purpose and are underpinned by a clear customer focus.

**About you**

You don't need to have a background in the heavy vehicle industry (but bonus points if you do). What you must have is a track record in managing and implementing digital transformation projects coupled with exceptional analytical skills. Impressive interpersonal and engagement skills along with the ability to solve complex problems and reconcile competing perspectives will be imperative to your success.

You will have experience quickly coming up to speed with complex technical content and business requirements. You will also be skilled at leading a team to deliver projects outcomes on time and on budget.

The NHVR minimizes the compliance burden on the heavy vehicle transport industry, reduces duplication and inconsistences across state and territory borders, and ultimately for the heavy vehicle business with government in Australia.
