We are currently seeking **TRADE QUALIFIED BOILERMAKER/WELDER to work as Workshop Supervisor** to join our team in a **Harvey workshop**.
- **To be qualified for the position, you have to**:_
- Have tickets**:Confined Space, Working at Heights **_**(both within 2 years)**_, and **HRWL - LF**:

- **Be available to work ASAP**.
- **Duties and Responsibilities of the role**:_
- Overall supervision of your fabrication team consisting of trades people, apprentices, and trades assistants.
- Ensuring that all products leaving the workshop conform to the company quality standards.
- Daily liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure workflow and production targets are met.
- Assist with the allocation of staff and resources to enable products to be manufactured on time and on budget.
- Provide clear instructions to employees on how to undertake jobs.
- Coach and support employees to develop as Boilermakers while building their confidence.
- Oversee the training of apprentices.
- Maintain safe work areas and practices at all times.
- Ensure equipment and machinery are regularly maintained.
- Maintain a team culture in the workshop.
- As a whole, ensure products are manufactured in a safe, friendly environment, to the highest quality, within timeframes and budgets.
- Manage employee performance including day to day and formal performance review.
- **EMPLOYMENT**_
- Minimum hours per week**:47.5 hours**:

- **On going long-term employment**:

- Monday to Friday
- Dayshift: 6:00am to 4:30pm
- Afternoon/Evening shift is dependent on hours being worked.
- Some weekend work required on an as needs basis.
- Rate is **flat rate** paid on all hours.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Harvey, WA 6220: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- tickets (Confined Space, Working at Heights, and HRWL - LF) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
