We know that our team members are the reason for our success.We're looking for a Intermediate Tax Accountant who is comfortable preparing tax returns and building strong, trust-based client relationships.
If you enjoy making people feel valued while delivering accurate, high-quality work, you'll fit right in with our team.What You'll Do:Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for all types of entities, including SMSFPrepare and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, Div.
7A, and statutory reporting requirementsLiaise with the ATO and other stakeholdersAssist in managing a team of accountants, delegating and reviewing work, and workflow managementMonitor job budgetsSupport the development of team members through mentoring and trainingEngage in advisory and tax planning workWork closely with diverse clients, providing compliance and value-added servicesWhat We're Looking For:3-5+ years of experience in public accounting within Australia, focusing on business servicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterstate applicants are encouraged to apply; relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidateStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulatory requirementsExperience with cloud-based software (practice uses XERO XPM)Enjoyment in training and mentoring staffLegal work rights in Australia, including Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyIn return, we offer:A salary of $135,000 per year, plus superannuation and a mobile phoneInteresting and challenging advisory work involving Australian and international tax issuesOpportunities to enhance skills through national and international conferencesStrong support from the firm's Directors/Partners without micro-managementA friendly and social team environmentAdditional InformationApplicants will be asked about their right to work in Australia, experience levels, familiarity with accounting packages, and tax planning experience.
