Engineering Applications (ENAP) is a Brisbane-based engineering and construction firm, with over 40 years history in design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of process plant & associated facilities across a diverse range of industries.

Due to an increase in our workload, we currently have positions available for a trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator who has both workshop and site experience to Join our team in Carole Park.

Initially engaged on a casual basis (full-time hours) with the intention to transitioning to permanent after a full assessment of skills and abilities is concluded. Overtime and weekend work also available with penalty rates.

Reporting to the Project Coordinators (site) or the Senior Workshop Tradesman, the preferred applicants will possess the following;
- Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Ability to perform fabrication and assembly of components in workshop and site environments.
- Relevant experience in structural fabrication or fabrication in medium to heavy industry and site installation work
- The ability to pass a weld test to AS1554 standard - MIG and Stick and/or Flux Core FCAW welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs

Some highly desirable but non-mandatory attributes include;
- High Risk Licence, Forklift, EWP, rigging, dogging
- Have an ability to TIG weld and work with Sheetmetal or pipe
- Working at Heights Training
- Confined Space Training
- Current & valid driver's licence
