**Role**

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated investment professional to join the
experience for the role of Portfolio Manager within the Equities team and report to the Chief
Investment Officer.

**Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Assisting in the management of portfolios against their relevant benchmarks and in

accordance with the portfolio management guidelines. Portfolios will comprise both
Australian and global equities and certain portfolios will include passive derivative
overlay strategies.
- Measuring benchmark tracking efficiency, fund attribution and identifying/mitigating

tracking risk.
- Identifying and executing trades necessary for funds to meet their investment

objectives, including index changes, cash flows, and hedging.
- Identifying and implementing portfolio management strategies around corporate

action events
- Monitoring market making activities for listed funds.
- Developing front office tools and preparing timely reports for internal users.
- Assisting the business as needed with product development, business strategy and

reporting;
- Collaborate and coordinate efforts with sales, marketing, compliance and operations.

**Key skills and experience**:

- B Com, B Bus, B Ec. or other tertiary qualifications essential
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience in benchmark aware asset management,

index/portfolio trading desk, or any similar experience.
- Excellent technical knowledge of financial products, strong analytical and quantitative

skills to calculate and interpret portfolio management and risk measurements.
- Experience using risk systems for optimized portfolio trades.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including advanced skills in VBA programming.

Proficiency in other programming languages desirable.
- Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities and concentrate on detailed

information under stressful conditions
