This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role where you will oversee the full payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for our people.What you will be doing:Managing end-to-end weekly payroll processing with precision and efficiencyHandling all payroll transactions and ensuring timely, accurate deliveryReviewing and verifying timesheets, approvals, and exceptions to maintain data integrityUpdating and maintaining employee records (leave, training, enterprise agreements, and more)Interpreting awards, NES, and employment conditions to ensure complianceAdministering workers' compensation payments and superannuation contributionsCalculating terminations, adjustments, and leave accruals with accuracyProactively resolving payroll queries and providing clear advice to employeesProcessing payroll transactions across both manual and automated systemsPreparing and issuing invoices to customers based on payroll informationAbout YouYou are more than just numbers focused, you are a confident communicator who knows how to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
Ambitious and career driven, you are eager to take on new challenges and grow your expertise in payroll.What you will bring to the role:2+ years' experience as a Payroll Officer (preferred)Solid ability to interpret awards and employment conditionsA knack for working with large volumes of data with speed and accuracyExceptional attention to detailProven success managing payroll for 1,500+ employeesThe flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team, always meeting daily KPIsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern payroll systemsHow to applyIf you believe you have what it takes to thrive in this role, we want to hear from you
