We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project for a FIFO position to Karratha.
This will be working both day and night shifts ie.
one swing will be day shift, next will be night shift.DBHF is a wharf structure to be built to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier.
The project will require the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction a new land backed wharf and land redevelopment.The position is on a 20:8 rotation to site in Karratha.We require an experienced a Project Engineer with a background in Civil or Wharf to join our team.
You must have experience in managing Sub-Contractors.Your focus will include but is not limited to:Delivery of technically acceptable engineering design and construction services for approved workWork with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity of design (technical performance).
Prepare, check and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines.Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changes.Be a proactive member of the team, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scope.Manage and coordinate design and construction effort of team reports to achieve satisfactory outcomes (project performance).
Provide construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support to projects as required.What you will bring to the team:Minimum of 5 years relevant experienceRelevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc Eng).
