We are currently seeking motivated **Dispatch Operator **to join our food processing facility at **Riverwood, NSW.**

You will be responsible for working on the Dispatch Section and working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards.

**Casual positions with an immediate start available. Shifts available with start times of **6:45am to 2:45pm/3.00pm to 11.00pm weekdays with some weekend work required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Tending allocated customer orders, performing dispatching tasks efficiently and working to meet individual and team targets
- Complete manual handling duties
- Palletise finished food items to be ready for delivery
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to pick and store stock or load finished food items to delivery trucks
- Dispatch goods with the loading of delivery trucks
- Clean and maintain a clean work space
- Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
- Identify and escalate any Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks to the Dispatch Manager

**About You**
- A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement and advancement in your role
- Must be physically fit, able to repetitively lift up to 15kg
- Be willing to work in a cold environment (between 2-4 degrees).
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges
- Experience in (FMCG) with in the food industry will be highly regarded but not essential
- Awareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance would be good but we will train you

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
