Event Marketing Coordinator

**What's the role**

This role sits in the Events and Experiences team, which is part of the Client Product pillar of News Corp Australia. We manage national programs that deliver business objectives through consumer, commercial and trade experiences supporting brands such as The Daily Telegraph, delicious., Vogue Australia, The Australian and more.

We're looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to implement the customer journey of News Corp Australia's events. Reporting to an Event Marketing Manager, you'll primarily be responsible for assisting the Event Marketing Manager with all aspects of event marketing and event planning & execution..

This role is perfectly suited to a recent marketing / events graduate with knowledge of the digital landscape. This is your opportunity to establish your event marketing skills for brands like The Courier-Mail, The Sunday Mail, The Gold Coast Bulletin, NT News, Cairns Post, Toowoomba Chronicle, Townsville Bulletin, Geelong Advertiser, and Hobart Mercury.

**Operational responsibilities**
- Manage the daily operations of ticketing and registration platforms for brand led and trade marketing events
- Develop and implement event marketing and communications plans with various stakeholders such as the Marketing Automation team, internal designers, technical producers; including eDM design, copywriting, artwork asset management, testing and approvals
- Provide accurate and timely reports to support the Event Marketing Manager in detailing the impact of marketing campaigns and digital activity on sales and audiences
- Implement event builds and ticketing allocations in collaboration with the Event Marketing Manager
- Maintain consumer-facing event websites and make relevant updates to the CMS
- Respond to customer enquiries and feedback in a timely manner and communicate with style and professionalism
- Manage sponsor ticketing needs
- Support and collaborate with the event production team to deliver best-in-class events
- Administrative tasks as required, including invoice management
- Assist in sourcing styling options for events

**Who we're looking for**
- A recent marketing and/or events graduate with digital experience
- Willingness to accelerate virtual event platform knowledge and learn ticketing systems and processes
- Have a passion for live events and best-in-class consumer experiences
- An organised team player with strong attention to detail and time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess analytical skills, interprets data and presents a clear picture of the current project state of play
- UX/CX background and design skills is a bonus
