Part of the CSR Group, our Logistics Business Unit has been created to embed leading practice logistics & supply chain solutions across CSR to establish a platform for growth capability, customer service and efficiency. Our aim is to improve safety, service, people, and costs whilst contributing to, and delivering the strategic change for the benefit of CSR and our customers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
CSR are seeking a dynamic, influential Logistics Manager to lead our team and manage one of our Bradford sites at Scoresby for a 24-month fixed term contract. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the VIC Logistics team through significant change across our logistics operations whilst delivering operational excellence.

**About the role**:

- Relentlessly promote a safe system of operation in the workplace with a goal of Zero Harm and ensure all hazards, incidents, accidents, injuries and near misses are reported accurately.
- Manage the DC operations to deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Liaise with sales, customer service, manufacturing and planning to forecast daily/weekly/monthly volume to plan workforce requirements to deliver customer promise at the right cost.
- Champion best practice initiatives and drive a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with team and stakeholders to develop ideas and implement effective solutions.
- Manage industrial agreements to achieve appropriate commercial and performance outcomes and flexibility for future Supply Chain changes.
- Build and maintain an exceptional team culture by creating a high-performance team who are accountable for all their actions as well as embrace standardisation and continuous improvement.

**About you**:

- Over 7 years of experience in similar logistics roles with a track record of successfully delivering tactical improvements.
- Experience driving change within a logistics environment.
- Your exceptional leadership abilities empower you to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Excel at building and maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Navigate the delicate balance between people management and achieving performance outcomes.
