**The Opportunity**:
The **Authorised Reporting Support Officer** operates in our Client Safety and Quality Improvement Business Unit. This position works within the Authorised Program Team to meet compliance requirements under the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission practice standards_._ The position's main purpose is to provide high level administrative support to the team undertaking reporting of Regulated Restrictive Practices prescribed in Behavior Support Plans in compliance with the required State and Federal legislation.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Ensure Restrictive practice reporting and ongoing monitoring of clients with Restrictive Practices in place
- Ensure compliance with legislation and essential timeframes are met.
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure KPI's are met and clients support needs are effectively delivered.
- Provide high level administrative support to the Authorised Program Team
- Provide business unit assistance with respect to the ongoing internal and external reporting requirements.
- Collaboratively contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation's strategic and operational plans.
- Deliver services that meet all relevant performance and outcome indicators.
- Support the team to ensure all accreditation and compliance standards are met in respect to the authorisation of RP's.
- Support effective communication with respect to all clients, and to ensure best practice service delivery and a commitment to upholding their human rights.
- Delivering all services with a focus on client outcomes and quality services, ensuring standards of excellence are achieved and maintained.
- Working collaboratively with all client's families, teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes for people requiring highly complex, individual support services.
- A collaborative and committed approach to partnerships supporting best outcomes for people supported by Minda.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A qualification in Disability Support (preferred)
- A qualification in Behaviour Support, Disability or Human Services (Desired)
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Additional screening/clearances may be required to work in specific areas)
- Administrative skills including using portals such as Proda (NDIS Commission), Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint and internal data management systems (such as incident management).
- Experience and understanding of delivering best practice supports to clients and their support networks in respect to addressing complex behaviours.
- Disability sector knowledge including, working with people to enhance choice and control in service delivery as well as through understanding related legislation such as Disability Acts, NDIS guidelines and NDIS Commission Quality and Safeguards Practice Standards.
- A good understanding of behaviour support practices, in particular for clients with intellectual disability.
- An understanding of the current legislative requirements relevant to behaviour support and restrictive practices.
- Awareness of implementing provider requirements with respect to the NDIS Practice Standards
- Full Covid-19 vaccination, two doses and a booster of a TGA approved vaccine
