As the principal learning and development officer, you will be responsible for coordinating learning and development for Legal Aid Queensland including analysing training needs, developing and delivering training, brokering external service providers and trainers and managing the learning and development budget.

**In this role you will**:

- Manage and coordinate learning and development programs
- Provide leadership to the Learning and Development team
- Develop, deliver and evaluate learning and development programs and eLearning
- Negotiate and manage the brokerage of external training providers to meet the learning and development needs for all employees
- Provide expert advice and consultancy services to executive, senior managers and all organisational employees to help formulate strategies for implementing learning and development
- Actively participate in ICT projects and initiatives as required, by providing advice, support and training to project teams and employees about changes to organisational systems and tools
