About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafts person/Project Administrator to join our team. This dual role involves drafting and project coordination, ensuring our projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate structural steel shop drawings and fabrication plans using Advanced Steel.Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop fabrication-ready details.Liaise with clients, engineers, and workshop teams to clarify design requirements.Assist in scheduling, tracking, and coordinating project timelines and deliverables.Prepare, update, and manage project documentation.Support procurement processes by compiling material lists and liaising with suppliers.Ensure all drawings and project records meet compliance and quality standards.
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in CAD drafting (e.g., Advanced Steel / Tekla, or similar).Strong understanding of structural steel detailing.Excellent communication and coordination skills.High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Previous experience in a steel fabrication or construction environment is highly regarded.Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
