We have an opportunity for a Planning Project Officer to be part of our Fisheries & Aquaculture Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

As part of the project team to deliver on Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) project 'Ecologically sustainable aquaculture growth through Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture (IMTA) - Incorporating nutrient modelling into regulatory frameworks, Project Number: 2023-051,' the Planning Project Officer is responsible for undertaking a literature review of IMTA including existing models and data requirements, providing input and advice to the project team, and developing a national policy guideline to inform regulatory frameworks that supports the development, implementation, management and uptake of IMTA and ecologically sustainable growth in Australian aquaculture.
